1.  Simple covers

I think these sort of give away my approach to designing minimalistic covers haha - testing diff backgrounds after doing the text work and seeing what fits best.

The one with the Chopper doodles is a little busy, but it's my favorite so far!  I've always shied away from scrapbook- and magazine-style covers (don't know where to start 99% of the time-) but this one was surprisingly fun to do!

3.  Blending practice!

Could have been more precise with the erasing... but overall I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out :P

As I've mentioned before, Kyoko Kirigiri from Danganronpa is actually my second choice faceclaim for Arisa but I end up using her for most of my CMY covers bc she has so many more resources available than my first choice, Elena Kimberlite from KnV.  ;-;

I've also gone down the Pinterest rabbit hole of collecting the official character artworks from the One Piece Card Game.  I hadn't known there were so many pieces out there, and they're perfect resources for gfx! :3

But yeah.  I really should experiment more with blending, it saves a lot of time bc I don't have to erase backgrounds-
